Walk and Talk
Come and join for a walk and talk with the Clocaenog Red Squirrel Ranger where you can learn all about red squirrels in Clocaenog and the magical mammals project.
This is a FREE event with limited spaces (first come, first served). Please sign up via the Eventbrite link.
Please make sure to check your email correspondence before leaving to attend this event. Clocaenog forest is an upland forest and the weather conditions are highly changeable, we may need to cancel with short notice if the weather conditions become unsafe for running a guided walk.
The walk will start from Bod Petryal car park:

- What3Words: tomb.revamped.automate
The walk and talk will start promptly at 10AM, so please try to arrive 10 to 15 mins early.
Please come in sensible footwear (preferably walking boots), and dressed for the weather conditions.
Refreshments are NOT provided so bring as much food and water as required for a few hours spent outside. There are no toilets in the car park, the closest facilities are in Ruthin, which is a 15 minute drive.
The walking loop is approximately 3.4km and gently undulating. We will be stopping regularly for observations and discussions. You should expect the walk and talk to take between two hours to three hours. The walking loop will all be on gravel forestry track and so is accessible for wheelchairs and prams.
Children must be accompanied by parents/guardians.
